Conservation Grounds Maintenance
Services We Provide
Conservation
We are involved in improving habitats, creating and maintaining new projects from pond and wetland creation to tree planting, to reed bed filter systems. We are involved in schemes to promote endangered species such as water voles and rare plants such as grass poly. Our current major contract, local amenity verge mowing, ensures that we are aware of the location of notable verges around West Sussex and aid in the protection of wild flowers.
Habitat Creation
Experienced in all aspects of nature conservation, habitat and grounds maintenance, we can provide project consultancy and design and implementation services for the natural environment. We are experienced in habitat mitigation and provide a full range of services for wildlife habitat creation, habitat management and habitat restoration.
Scrub Clearance
Another conservation grounds m aintenance service we can provide is scrub control and clearance for rough grassland areas where brambles, brushwood, bracken, gorse and other species are becoming invasive.
We have a range of specialist machinery and are happy to provide an estimate for clearing overgrown areas and bringing them back to productive ground or improved habitat for wildlife.
Wetland Creation
We have extensive experience in the creation, restoration and rehabilitation of wetland habitats ranging in size from school and garden ponds to large fishing lakes and offer advice throughout the project.
We carry a variety of excavation equipment covering sizes from conventional 1.5 ton excavators through to 20 ton long reach machines with a working reach of 15 meters to carry out such projects.
